Klondike Derby

We went to the Rural Life Center. We won first place. It was awesome.

Drake Service Project/Campout

We camped out overnight in Bro. Drake's yard. The next day, Brother Keck taught us about hand tools and how to sharpen cutting tools. We worked for about four hours making improvements to the hillside behind Bro. Drake's house. Lots of hard work but I now have a much higher respect for a bulldozer.

We also got into a cool apple fight.

Scout Camp - Camp Friedlander

We spent the week at Camp Friedlander near Cincinnati. It was awesome! We got to do some really cool stuff like play on "The Blob" go ice climbing on the climbing wall, and ride a water bicycle at the lake.

I earned more required merit badges.

It rained A LOT one night and we had an awesome Dutch oven meal that my dad helped us make. They also had air conditioning in the dining hall.

The only bad part is that our camp was very far away from everything. To be fair everything was far away from everything.

Father and Son Campout

The ward came to our property at 4131 Bellville Road East for an overnight father and son campout. Bro. Shea Anderson helped us make funnel cakes and roasted marshmallows. One of the Drake boys hurt himself when he jumped out of a tree. I had to duck out early to start work at Wendys, but I managed to get back in time to settle in a bag around midnight.
